Shared Tags:

Sharing tags has made a variety of improvements to the overall Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) process. Tags are combined to simplify procedures and reduce tedious work. In one example it was found that out of 2,545 tags nearly 26% were duplicates. An estimated 2 days were spent on hanging and clearing these tags. CHAMPS prevents this unnecessary work. One component, one tag, it’s that simple.

Predefined Boundaries:

Required Boundaries are planned and identified down to the Work Order Step level. Tag Groups and Quick Selects make boundary identification and selection easy. These boundaries can also be assigned to PMs within CHAMPS making the entire process that much more efficient and automated.

Plant Impacts:

Plant Impacts are designed to clearly identify Operational and Safety issues to take into account when tagging and performing work. This information is printed directly onto Tagout and Work Order Steps so that this important data is never left behind.
