Chandra Patel
President l CEO, CHAMPS Software Inc.
Chandra Patel is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of
CHAMPS Software, Inc. Chandra has been with the company since 1978, when
he started CHAMPS' first project with South Carolina Gas and Electric
Company's V. C. Summer Nuclear Plant. Prior to joining CHAMPS, Mr. Patel
worked with Southern California Edison Company as a Construction and Start-up
Engineer. Mr. Patel earned his BSME for the University of London, and
MBA from Pepperdine University.
Bryan Gay
President, CMMS Division
Bryan Gay has been with CHAMPS for 13 years. Mr. Gay has served as VP,
Operations, Director of Projects and Director of Sales. Bryan began his
career as a member of the development team. Prior to joining CHAMPS Bryan
accumulated over 16 years of senior sales executive experience in the
Public Utility sector.
Chuck Patel
President, Business Intelligence Division
Chuck Patel brings over 17 years of experience selling and implementing
CRM systems. He has developed an approach where he stresses end user involvement
throughout the entire process – from needs assessment through end
user training. In addition, Mr. Patel is a strong advocate of securing
top management commitment to greatly increase the likelihood of success
along with a dedicated and experienced implementation team.
Prior to joining CHAMPS, Mr. Patel spent 5 years with Sage Software as
a Regional Sales Manager responsible for driving sales of Sage SalesLogix
CRM. In 1997, Mr. Patel founded Global Technology Partners, Inc. which
focused on mid market CRM solutions (SalesLogix, Pivotal, Sieble and Applix)
and sales process consulting and successfully sold the business to One,
Inc. of Chicago, IL. Mr. Patel earned his BS degree in Management Science
from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.
Nigel Pilsbury
VP, R&D
Mr. Pilsbury has been with CHAMPS for almost 20 years. Nigel began his
career as a technical writer and product manager. After organizing and
managing CHAMPS, training, distribution, documention and products, Mr.
Pilsbury became the central figure behind all software development products
and projects. Mr. Pilsbury has advanced degrees in both computer programming
and product development and management. Nigel ascribes to the Microsoft
Solutions Framework for Development Methodology. Mr. Pilsbury is considered
by some to be a leading visionary among the top 1% of Maintenance Management
Software Professionals.
Mike Melfi
VP, Business Development
Mr. Melfi joined CHAMPS in January of 1994 after spending 10 years in
the Nuclear Power industry. Mike is responsible for sales, marketing and
client relations, as well as all business partnerships and alliances.
Mike is CHAMPS Enterprise solutions chief negotiator and contracts administrator.
Mr. Melfi earned his degree in Marketing from the University of Florida
and maintains active membership in a number of regional and national professional
associations related to business development, IT Business and Work Force
improvement.
